God Shares in Your Tears

by | Jun 19, 2018 | Gods Love, Grace

Have you ever asked God where He was during a difficult season of your life? I once asked that of God. During a frank discussion with Jesus one day I yelled at the top of my lungs, “Where were you that day, Jesus?! I was crying. I was scared. I was hurting. How could you just stand by and watch as evil occurred?”

His answer was unexpected. “I was crying, too”, He said.

Jesus is not callous to our pain. No tear we ever shed is lost to our Father. For surely, if He counts every hair on our head then He counts every tear as well! Take in this truth, dear friend! Almighty God, the creator of the planets, stars, and heavens, sees you! He knows where you are! He sees every single tear that falls from your eyes. Not even one is lost as it escapes your tear ducts and streams down your anguished face. Every single one is captured in His hand.

We may never understand the reason why. Why we had to suffer. We we had to endure. But we can have peace knowing that no pain ever escapes our Father’s eyes. He sees us, cares for us, grieves with us, and loves us. And one day, there WILL BE redemption for EVERY tear shed.
